solution is: just return false on the wpseo_canonical filter.

totally agree.

for example, Simple:Press plugin already add its canonical and it’s correct, while WordPress SEO displays as canonical the URL of the page used to display the forum.

having the possibility of removing the canonical on that page would allow the simple:press canonical to be the only (and correct) one on every forum page…

i’m having the same issue (on a different hosting, btw). occasionally, my website returns error 500, and in .htaccess i find some garbage (it seems to me binary…)

when i enable to link to archive on the widget, the link goes to the right URL, but the page displays the homepage of the website, not the archive.

i regenerate the permalink structure, just in case, but nothing changes.

any idea?
