But, the plugin should work with the behavior you describe :
– write an article
– check the services you want
– hit the publish/update button

There is no problem to “preview” the article before publishing.

When you go in your settings, you can sign out from facebook (this will revoke the access), and then sign in to have the new token.

Actually, you only need to give write access to the “lock” folder. It’s a folder where the plugin write some temporary files during the publishing. So you can’t delete that folder. And check if there are the write access. (755 should be fine, but you can test with 777).

Actually, yes it works. But there is a difference between wso.li and w.wso.li. w.wso.li is linked with my bit.ly account, so the url is really a bit.ly url.

For example, here are 2 urls :
– https://w.wso.li/qPMTpM
– https://bit.ly/qPMTpM

Both are the same “url code”. And both link to the same url.

If you want to customize the url, you can create a bit.ly account and link to your url.

You said it’s not working with your twitter account, can you tell me if you see an error, or something ? Did you try to revoke this access on Twitter and try again ?

I never try to publish on a group, I have to try this. And for now, you can’t publish at the same time on several pages. But I will definitely add this feature, probably in the next version.

Actually, for the preview image, here is how it works :

– If you choose the “featured image” in your WordSocial settings, when you publish a post, the system will try to get the image from it. If the system fails, it will try to find an image in your post and use that image as preview. If again, there is no image, at this time, the system use the default image.

– For “custom field”, the process is similar but the first step is replace by the search into your custom field instead of “featured image”.

Now, what is the featured image or custom field ?

In the first screenshot (https://www.ads-software.com/extend/plugins/wordsocial/screenshots/), you see you can choose the way that the system retrieve the preview image (featured image or custom field, and if custom field… What custom field.)

Here, you can see how to set an image as featured image : https://en.support.wordpress.com/featured-images/#setting-a-featured-image (Your theme need to be compatible with this feature. Otherwise, you won’t see that option).

Of course, the name of the custom field into your post need to be the same as the one into your WordSocial settings. For example, in the screen above, I note “image_value” for the custom field.
