I put the plugin through hard tests. I was testing 500 plugins and themes over the past few weeks and for some reason that section of your code or some other part of your code intermittently made problems with the customizer. I tried for 5 hours yesterday to try and find a pattern and there was not a pattern besides when your plugin is active. Your plugin functions ok on a new fresh install and new database. But that’s not saying the code is bug free. I did find one strange pattern. If I rename the theme directories and reactivate, that seemed to help. I also copied a 100% bugfree theme into a directory that was causing the issue and the customizer disappeared again but there was zero connection to the bug and the directory. I had no other similar issue with the other 500 plugins/themes. So its possible there is a bug in your code, but maybe not.

I don’t think I see the message anymore. But the question still is there. Will the functions to activate the Reports page even be possible in the near future??? Because it used to say that Woo is replacing it with Analytics. There are better Analytics anyway so why not remove reports and Analytics. And use another plugin for Analytics.

Customizer is a core main feature in all wordpress. Its been around since version 3.4, or since June 2012… Started 9 years ago.

Ok I test a little more. I see for images that did for some reason not have any reduction made in pixel size, the plugin uses the original. Maybe the plugin can take note of that and regenerate the thumbnail before saving the settings. Otherwise its likely fine as is. I’m just doing thousands of tests and find little problems. But your plugin is probably fine as is. Just rare case if image did not have generated thumbnails then there is a problem.

For the columns. Its wasted about 2 and half inches on the right side of the thumbnail. If you want I email you a screen shot.

Please ignore all my words from yesterday. Both notes were in reference to a completely different plugin. I was testing many things at once and confused your plugin features with another plugin! Good chat, though. I do not see any bugs in your plugin. ??

No I don’t think its annoying. I agree with you not having multiple places for the settings. But being able to select and copy text is standard function, no? Not something new or fancy or genius.

Hey, I found a second bug tonight. To duplicate the bug follow these instructions. Create any shortcode. Add the shortcode in any page, not a post. From the view of the page. Now go into customize > widgets ; as you see you can click into the added widget and back out. Now click on the menus of the previewed site and click to any post page. Now go into customize > widgets ; you now see the custom widget is listed on the list and when you click nothing happens. It should not be listed there on the post page because the shortcode was only added to the one page, but not a post page.

Sorry Jeremy. I am a bug creator, I mean I put software through the fire and test a lot of things. I found this bug and I wanted to tell you about it. I don’t have more info. I already deleted everything, including your plugin. 6 week delay on reply is not good for users. Visually the plugin looks good. I can’t remember if I disliked anything else. But it seems like a good plugin, maybe just needs a little fixes here and there.
