In reply to: [WordPress Related Posts] add attribute to to get rid of Pinterest buttonHi Petra,
Thanks for your reply. Yes I went another route with social sharing functions and got rid of the problem that way. I like your plugin a lot!

In reply to: [WPSocialite] How to wp_enqueue socialite.pinterest.jsThanks for replying Tom,
Yes Tom I am sure you are right.I did locate the script inside wpsocialite.php. Is there a way to modify that code to enqueue the script or does that break functionality somehow? It breaks it when I try to change it to load with wp_enqueue. Even though the sprite button still loads pinterest sharing even though the mouseover never takes place.Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: CSS File and style-custom.php File load long after rest of siteHi zwade,
That ended up being the Mailchimp plugin for adding a subscriber widget on my sidebar. Needless to say I uninstalled that!

In reply to: [Affiliate Super Assistent] Error in Server Log Every SecondHi Timo,
Thank you very much for replying. I think your plugin is great, I just hate to see these constant errors. I went ahead and contacted my host about it and here was the response:
If they could give us details about the sequence of things that need to happen to use the amazon web servicewe may be able to help further. I can tell you based on a curl to amazon.com that simply accessing amazon.com works
curl https://www.amazon.com
brings up the contents of their front page.which is what the exception says that its trying to do when it says that its trying to make a tcp:// connection to https://www.amazon.com on port 80
but it may be trying to do something else (web service) related then it gets there, which may be what is actually failing.
This is the section of that plugin that makes a connection to the amazon service (and normally probably connects to something more involved than retrieving the front page). It gives the option to connect to particular ports,
/wp-content/plugins/amazonsimpleadmin/AsaCore.php(2345): AsaCustomerReviews->__construct(‘B0028W4P18’, ‘https://www.amaz…’, Object(AsaZen in /wp-content/plugins/amazonsimpleadmin/lib/AsaZend/Http/Client/Adapter/Socket.php on line 235What ports does it need to connect on? If it is something more than port 80 there may be a block on the firewall.
Thank you,
Jason

In reply to: Home page content missing after messing with JetpackIt turned out that somehow the plugins disabled my template settings and reverted my home page attribute to something funky which resulted in no content displaying. Basically somehow my options got crosswired and I just had to simply move the home page back to the default template page attribute. Took me several days of tinkering to get it sorted out.

In reply to: Home page content missing after messing with JetpackForgot to mention that all the pages, widgets, etc are all in place and working fine. Every other sub page is working fine as well. Its just the home page.
