“99 Problems” may be Jay-Z’s big single right now, but the Kayne West-produced “Lucifer” is my present favorite on The Black Album. The dub/reggae flavor of the track, its brevity and purposeful production, and the juxtaposition of the easy-riding groove with the tense guitar strumming and the pressure of the refrain ("I’m from the murder capital / where we murder for capital") all make it a sleeper standout. I doubt it’ll make its way to the radio after “99 Problems,” but it deserves its place in any solid summery dubby DJ set - or your iPod


So I’ve tried both Rob’s script and LL’s original script, and neither produce any output, nor any result (ie, nothing is posted). I’m pretty puzzled. I’ve looked through the code and everything seems in order. Do you guys have any versions with more debugging code in place or something?

I’m a big fan of my new host, Dr2.net. WP runs just fine on it.

I’m up for a challenge. I’ll see what I can do ^_^

Worked great with that fix, though I did have to clear out my links in the WP database ’cause there’s no easy way I saw to batch delete links in the Link Manager. I wasn’t able to readily find a good run-down on different OPML flavors. XML != standardization, *sigh*

Works great! Any progress on a caching version?

*headslap* So sorry, should’ve looked deeper. Really sorry. As penance for dumb questions I’ll learn WP inside and out and start coding nifty hacks ^_^ I’m loving it so far. Thanks!

Awesome, worked perfectly ??

Nah, my host was RootRoute, and is now Dr2. In all honesty I’ve had so many problems with RootRoute that I skipped diagnosing this problem and used this as a justification to jump ship to another host. Life’s too short!

I figured that it’s something with my host, which has had its share of problems. Moving to a new host.

Why is this fix not yet in the CVS?! This got the install working for me on Mac OS X 10.3.
