So I have done some of that without any meaningful result really since this is probably more of a host problem than wordpress. Nonetheless, the support from one.com has finally reached out and I am really unhappy with their answer as it doesn’t make sense and it seems like they are just ignoring this to some level. I am still looking for more information.

    This is what they said:
WordPress Multisite this function is disabled by default (by WordPress).
Once it is enabled, you have the ability to create a network of sites but only as path-based installation, NOT as subdomain-based installation.
?Unfortunately, we do not support the multisite as we are only using a shared hosting environment and the multisite needs to have a dedicated server.?

Their answer seems both stupid and wrong, so I am asking here, is it possible to use a shared hosting environment with WP multisite?(If not, why?) Or is that a limitation? I am no expert in networking and domains and stuff, but their answer makes no sense to me.. so I’m just trying to find out the way this works.

    Thanks once again!

Hey, and thakn you SO MUCH for your help! I saw that the pictures that I attached to my post are not available, you were able to provide me with a solution nonetheless. You are awesome! @contentiskey the second link ended up solving the problem. It wasn’t Astra that was the problem, I had another plugin “Starter Templates” active, after deactivating that everything started working normally.
