In reply to: [PayPal for WooCommerce] Paypal Pro UK Hosted? Thanks for the reply. One thing I would like to ask about this plugin. Does the site have to be PCI compliant to use this plugin?
I an confused about taking payments on the checkout page where card info is stored or taking payments on the checkout page but Paypal handles the card payments via the panel )iframe?) on your checkout page?
So I guess my question is does your plugin load the PAYPAL card gateway in the checkout page and avoid card info being stored on the website with PCI needed?
Thanks.

In reply to: [WooCommerce PayPal Pro Payment Gateway] Paypal Pro Hosted? Some success. It was a mistake in the API key causing the security header problem.
I am not sure if everything is working ok though.
The order goes through to Paypal and I get a notice of payment email, but on test gateway I got an email from the store to admin showing the new order, but not with this plugin.
In the PayPal account the PaPpal transaction does not show the Address or email of the customer.
Is there something I can do to fix this?
Thanks,
Alan

In reply to: [WooCommerce PayPal Pro Payment Gateway] Paypal Pro Hosted? In the Paypal account I discovered that it is actually Paypal Pro API in use. I added all the credentials from the API page and unfortunately I see the folllowing errors…
Security header is not valid
(Transaction Error) something is wrong.I know the credentials are correct as I tested them with another Paypal Pro gateway and the transaction went through but I prefer to use your plugin if possible ??
HAve you any suggestions or anything else I should check?

In reply to: [WP Store Locator] Question about a directoryThanks Tijmen, I look forward to seeing that add on and trying it out. It will be some time before I finish the site anyway ??
So I have now recovered the live site and Version 0.9.4.31 runs OK.
Since I cannot upgrade will Piklist work OK with this old version with any foreseeable WP upgrades? I am on WP 4.5.3 currently.
Also is there any way to hide the 4 pages worth of the Piklist bulleted list of updates in the plugins menu? Gets tedious havign to scroll through it all to reach other plugins ??
Tried agin on live site – same result – site crashed.
No warning appears in the admin when I try to update but on Dev site I do get a warning panel about backing up etc.
Tried to install vers 9.9.8 and got the following error
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_FUNCTION in /var/www/vhosts/mysite.com/httpdocs/wp-content/plugins/piklist/includes/class-piklist-form.php on line 616
Hi Steve,
Unfortunately I cannot take a risk and do it on the live server at the moment. What I did do though was clone the site to another server and did the update. On this occasion I got the warning notice about backing up the databse etc. I did not see that last time for some reason and I don’t known if that had any bearing on the update but on the cloned site all went well.
I will move the cloned version of the site onto the live server soon.
please delete this double post.
Some websites are reporting it is only for occasional buy buttons, and not a full blown store like Woo for instance.
Hey Sybre, thank you so much for such an informative answer and so quickly. I’m happy to test this now on a soon-to-be-live new site ??
