Hello again,
It is now 4 months since I posted about this problem. It still hasn’t disappeared, despite the newer versions of Photo Gallery. In fact it’s actually worse now, because I now see two instances of similar error messages at the top of my site’s main page, https://www.aapix.art and it is fouling up the layout of my page.
I think the Elementor developers site explains the issue at:
https://developers.elementor.com/docs/deprecations/deprecated-function/Thank you for looking into this. Hoping your team will update the Photo Gallery coding accordingly, as soon as possible, for me and others experiencing this issue.
NB: In desperation, I have altered my WordPress wp-config.php file to disable these error messages, but I’m told it’s not a desirable or ideal fix.- This reply was modified 2 years, 1 month ago by alan9000.

Thank you for clarifying, Nikita. If I convert all my gallery images to WebP, using some other WP optimization plugin, will my 10Web Photo Gallery still work properly?
Sorry; I didn’t realise I posted in the wrong forum.
All resolved now. Thanks to some excellent assistance from 10Web, it was discovered that there was a 2mb file upload limit on my site. Now it has been changed to 1GB, so all should be ok now.
Thanks for your reply. So, if I click “Optimise Now”, will I be able to choose between (a) image compression and (b) WebP generation?
Thank you.
PS.. I now see that it is PNG images that fail to uplaod. JPG images upload with no problem. I really want to upload only PNG images, which are supposed to be an acceptable image format for Photo Gallery. Please help. The problem started about three days ago. Before that, my PNG images were uploading without problems.
Okay – will do. Thanks for the reply.
I found the settings I needed, thank you.
