So I guess there’s no answer to this problem. I sent the developer a message via Twitter about this problem a few days ago with a link to this page but still no response.

I can’t wait anymore. I changed themes.

I am having the same issue. I love this theme but the sidebar issue with an image is a serious problem for me. I also tried to put an image in the sidebar but the image is faded. The sidebar color lays over the image instead of behind it.

Is there any way to fix this?

Thank you for posting about this! I am having the same problem with my gluten free site! I’ll try filtering in Google Analytics as well.
