No Dice.

I went through each of the locations and made sure nothing was in them. I modified the custom code section at the bottom and added # to all blank links.

Same error. Error log shows nothing.

What’s next?

Was going to downgrade back to 2.6.7 and found 2.6.9 instead. Works again.

Happening on every post.

Anything that returns access, no matter how kludgy it is, is usually appreciated followed up by, But I CAN do better!

The job will be restarted on every main step to prevent running in an execution time out. This will not work on cli run. If ALTERNATE_WP_CRON has been defined, WordPress Cron will be used.

I have another plugin that also sends out mass emails.

That one has an option:

Restart on every main step

Restart on every main step Restart the job on every main step on a running job

Unchecking the box causes it to only run once. Does this plug-in have a similar issue?

Most days it’s just the one backup now. Had two backups once.

Changed format from zip to tar.gz – Should be innocuous.

So it was probably the restart on main step that was causing the issue.

The upgrade to 3.03 using the built in WordPress facility did not go well. So I removed the plugin by hand and uploaded the files to the server and then activated it.

This morning there was just one file. I also changed a few settings. I’ll try to annotate which ones later on today and monitor it for a few more days before I mark it resolved.

I had WP Super Cache installed but I removed it last night around 8 PM and then the backup ran several hours later and produced 30 backups. ??

I feel safe but would like just one obviously. ??

Fixed in 3.5.1

On a single line post things like fine on the visual editor.

However switching to text reveals:

<a href="fine">fine

</a>

Which is probably causing multi-line posts to come out really bad.

So there’s an old plugin called:

Better YouTube Embeds

and the first thing it does is to clear the oembed cache from Post_Meta. ??
