i know you ask to billy, but this is from my opinion, if you use autosize, sometimes you can’t get proportional resize and the result not good (weird :D), usually i crop the picture with adobe photoshop (or anything else) with proportion 900:300, choose the best cropping, and upload it

i think slider can’t autosize feature, so you must fix your picture before upload or change css for slider show,

for bold menu till now i don’t have idea, maybe mrbillie can help you

i use firebug, a firefox addons to edit css (simulation/trial error) from frontpage, after you find most suit css you can apply it in stylesheet.css (from admin panel – appearance – editor)

maybe you can make one testing site and start from scratch,

and about future products,
why don’t you write it in posts? for example, if you have 3 products, just make 3 posts, so it will appear in homepage,
don’t make another post again if you don’t have another feature product, or if you have another product beside that just change the date in that 3 posts to be newest date

1. i think there is some error from php code, did you try to reinstall themes? maybe there some double code slideshow in your script

2. “page” is different from “post”, in home page, normally you’ll see summary of posts and it chronological (newer post date will be show first), but if you create page, it will show with menu link (so you must add that link in appearance-menu), and page is not chronological, but wordpress have feature to make page as landing page (homepage), if you want static homepage

3. just edit your css in stylesheet.css file, i usually use firebug in firefox to change css code (trial-error) until i find most suit for me, after that i change css code in that file

4. i think you must change php code, because that feature not include in this theme, maybe….

do you mean under logo? or under slideshow?
normally, if you make new posts, it will be appear under slideshow, but if you want to make between logo and slideshow, i think you must change php code

@torenhomes : i don’t use shortcodes, just use menu from the templates

to make slideshow :
1. activate slideshow by select your slideshow type in admin menu – proton themes (eg nivo slider)
2. make new post, in the bottom, click option yes to “include this into the featured slide show”
3. you must make at least 2 post with featured slide show

beside that you can make featured post section, this option make your post in frontpage bigger than regular, like in https://www.intenseblog.com/theproton/ (look Sed suscipit metus a dapibus)
