I have a similar question. My users wants to be notified by email when there’re new postings.
(1) Is there such built-in feature(option)?
(2) Is there an easy way to extract(list) all email addresses stored in WP database?

The “serach” has never worked on my installations. I get no search results at all when there should be at least one for certain search keywords. No one here seemed to have answered the question ??

Is there something we need to do to “turn it on” after the installation?

How can find out the version of WordPress of an installed BLOG ? There must be an on-the-fly version identifier somewhere right ?
