In reply to: [TablePress - Tables in WordPress made easy] Size of tableHi both
Thanks for your input
I am looking at the Baptism records for our church. There are 11,000 of them (over a period of 200 years). Once loaded they wont need to be updated. I guess I could load them into tables based on the century (1600’s, 1700,s etc) and there would only be 8 fields.Alex
Have you tried the date in US format?
I don’t think that the plugin is being maintained or updated. When it stopped working for me, I found some code that worked. Search for post: Not working with latest WP
Thanks @opmaken that solved the issue. New to WP – if there is a WP upgrade does the functions.php file get overwritten at all?
Thanks

In reply to: [TablePress - Tables in WordPress made easy] Display by dateOops! No wonder it did not work – many thanks Tobias.
One final question on this. The top two rows of my table contain header information. Is there a way to start the filtering at row 3, which is the first row to contain a date?
Many thanks

In reply to: [TablePress - Tables in WordPress made easy] Display by dateHi Tobias
I have been following this thread as I am having the same issue. I have set up a second column with the date in US format (and I have disabled hiding the column for debugging purposes.
I am using the following code: [table id=34 filter_date=future filter_date_columns=2 /]
However the filter does not appear to be working, and I cannot see what I have done wrong. the url is https://www.modburyteam.org/team-readings/
Any help much appreciated
