The plugin doesn’t display time, it displays time intervals, i.e. time left before an event or time passed after an event. Site administrator sets event date and time in her WordPress time zone (the one selected in general settings) so that initially displayed interval is correct.
Site visitors should see the same interval if they view the page at a certain moment even if they are located in different time zones.
Displaying different values for a countdown to the same event depending on user’s time zone would be an error.

Sure, you can. Suppose you have already discovered Easy Recurring Events companion plugin. This plugin supports 2 configurations, so you have to set the first one as “daily at 4.20” and the second one to “daily at 16:20”. Then in Smart Countdown FX widget configuration select “Easy recurrence – merge both configurations” option from “Import events from” setting. If you are using shortcode – import_config=”scd_easy_recurrence::1::2″.
This will do the trick.

there is an easy fix for the issue. Look for “Widget style – CSS rules separated and ended with a semicolon” in Smart Countdown FX widget settings, add the following code there (without quotes): “margin-bottom:0;padding-bottom:0;” and save.
Let me know if it works.
Explanation: bottom padding and margin are defined in your theme style but the rules from “Widget style” setting will override these values. I cannot attach screenshots here, if you give me your email I can send you the web inspector image with details.

What version did you have before update? Are you using an event import plugin with Smart Countdown FX?

Please open widget configuration in Appearance / Widgets and check the following options:

• Counter display mode – set it to “Auto – both countdown and count up”
• Counter animation profile – select one from the dropdown
• Event date and time – normally you would select one using datetime picker, but if you e.g. pasted it manually it must have MySQL format, i.e. YYYY-MM-DD hh:mm:ss

Save and check. One more question? Do the widget title and “loading” image appear before the whole widget is hidden?
