Alright, I compared my Wordfence files with fresh ones downloaded from www.ads-software.com to make sure that wasn’t the case, but I understand.

Nevermind, I got it to work after playing around with other plugins.

Another plugin also shows the login attempts that should have been blocked by Wordfence but weren’t:

– Given that “Show Wordfence Automatic Blocks” doesn’t work, I compared the list of top IPs blocked in the last 24 hours on the Firewall page with the IPs of failed login attempts for usernames that I specified should be blocked immediately. None of the IPs match. This leads me to believe the “Immediately block the IP of users who try to sign in as these usernames” feature doesn’t work.

– On the Blocking page, I was expecting the “Show Wordfence Automatic Blocks” toggle to display the IP addresses that have been blocked by Wordfence, again to confirm that the “Immediately block the IP of users who try to sign in as these usernames” feature works as it should. Regardless of whether this is toggled on or off, only the IPs I’ve manually inputted show.

Thanks… it was due to our theme. I fixed the error and now it works.

I’m on the latest Chrome on Mac (v78).

I can also try disabling all of our site’s plugins but need to make a backup first.

It’s still missing. When the chat is initiated, i.e. before any messages are sent either way, the live agent’s window shows “Guest no email set” at the top right at least when using the local server. The agent is unable to greet the customer by name in the first message as a result.

Great, thanks. One more (unrelated) thing: I’m seeing “The use of a local server will be deprecated in our next major release” in the plugin’s settings. Please don’t deprecate it: you could make it a Pro feature instead.
