Thanks for getting back to me and for the advice.

Happy in principle to override the Elementor rules but just wondering – Is it likely to look ok on mobile? I presume many other people have done it in the past?

Is there anyway I can add in alternative fonts to the font stack so that it will default to them instead if Open Sans isn’t available?

All of the fonts listed in the font stack for my site are sans-serif fonts….yet on some browsers/products the font that appears for my site is a serif font.

Is it surprising that the browser seems to be going ignoring all of the fonts in the for stack and using a serif font?

Its probably obvious that I’m a real beginner here – is there a way to set a second choice font for those users who do not have Open Sans? Would use something like Arial to get it closer at least if that was possible.

And I must say I’m surprised that “Open Sans” is not available on some browsers – would have thought it was relatively common.
