Okay, follow-up, the php file was not trivial as it’s heavily theme-oriented (I’m using Divi). I did some research and it turns out this is tunable by going to Theme Options | Layout Settings.

Okay! That was a serious WTF moment. Yes I’m running Avada. I’m fairly new to Avada and now I see they must install this FAQ plug-in. Why it’s not on any plug-in list is beyond me.

Hi Richard, I really don’t know what’s up with this. The second plug-in has exactly the same behavior as EasyFAQ. And there is only one plug-in installed.

This will likely remain an unsolved mystery. It’s not bugging me that much, more just a mild PITA, no biggie.
