Hi – I’m also having major problems getting to work. it shouldn’t be this hard!
I’m not a novice plugin writer but having no luck at all getting this going.

Ideally a simple example in a plugin so we can figure out what we’re doing wrong ??

Any help from any pros out there?

I’m trying to do the same thing by the sounds of it, just not in buddypress. The excellent admin AG custom admin plugin:

works great, but only for one site. I need something like that, that is applied to ALL sites in the network.

If you have any joy with this please let me know – and I’ll do the same

Agreed – it doesn’t work for me either.
Can’t find the tinymce function.

Is this plugin still being updated? I’m still surprised this feature is not a default option eg. in network settings >> Enable MCE on buddypress

Hi Dave,

The AVH category plugin is great. It now displays custom categories (along with total items etc..) but even though it says there are 20 items in the category (all from custom posts) clicking the category link still shows none found. Is there a specific setting in Post Type Manager I need to set for this to work?

Did you find a solution to this? I’m having the same issue.

I have exactly the same problem and am using 2010 theme.

Category / sub cats appear in the category widget OK, but only regular ‘posts’ appear when clicking the category. Any custom post item with a category is NOT shown ??
