Thanks for posting this work-around apoluo. I forgot to update this. I ended up deactivating all plugins and reactivating them one-by-one. I found that it was a gallery plugin that I was using. So I deactivated that and all was fine.

To clarify, I added the CSS code you gave me to my site and it worked perfectly. But when I added it (and re-added it) to this site, it’s not working. Can you let me know why this is happening and help me fix this?

Thank you! Hopefully you’ll be updating it soon and adding that as a clickable option in the floating share bar section? I’m recommending this plugin to beginners and would like them to have an easy way to remedy this.

No error message. It’s just that the “Insert Image” button will not light up so I can click it. I’ll select an image I want to insert, but that “Insert Image” button never becomes clickable.

Hi, thanks for this, but I don’t think this solves my problem. I tried deactivating all plugins, but the images still did not show up when all plugins were deactivated. So I think it’s safe to assume that the plugins are not the problem.

The other fixes on that link you sent have specific errors attached to them. I’m not seeing any errors at all, so I don’t really want to take the steps for those errors unnecessarily, when it seems those instructions are to troubleshoot those specific problems listed.

It’s just that when I try to upload new images, they won’t show. All of the existing images show correctly on the site and in the media library. But if I upload a new image, and look at it in the media library, it only shows the name of the image where the actual image should show. So there’s something going wrong here. And like I said, images were able to be uploaded correctly as recently as 8/7/14. So I’m not sure why this is happening.

If anyone has any instructions for this specific problem, that would be a great help. Thanks.

Hi, so I went in through FTP and uploaded videogall.3.2 to my plugin files, but it didn’t overwrite anything, it’s simply in there with the videogall file as well, and nothing changed on my site. Should I rename videogall.3.2 to videogall for it to overwrite the file that was already in there? Because right now, in my ftp files, it says that videogall and videogall.3.2 files are both in there together.

Hi, so I kept the current 3.3 version installed, and tried installing the 3.2 version in my WordPress Dashboard by uploading the file in the plugins section, and I got the following error message:

Installing Plugin from uploaded file: videogall.3.2.zip

Unpacking the package…

Installing the plugin…

Destination folder already exists. /home3/kerri/public_html/wp-content/plugins/videogall/

Plugin install failed.

Any idea how to get around this?

Hi, so let me clarify…. The link you gave says it’s 3.3, are you sure this is 3.2? Also, I just tried to upload it in my WP dashboard, like I would normally upload a plugin and it said I already had the plugin installed, because of course I had previously updated to 3.3, so maybe you sent me the wrong version?

This is crazy!! I just found out that the entire plugin was wiped clean, there’s no way to retrieve the videos that were stored in this plugin! How can the developer just do that? Is there any way we can contact the developer? I’ve searched but haven’t found a way. Even his site is no longer up. I just don’t get it. This is ridiculous!

The thumbnails are not showing correctly on the post that put into that debugger tool, but I still don’t know why. And I’ve found that thumbnails show correctly on some blog posts, but not on others, even when there are images within the body of the blog post. So any help here would be appreciated. Thanks.
