Hello Aaron
I too am experiencing this issue. When I setup the application, include the proper tokens in the correct fields, I click on the authorize account button and I get this page:
Whoa there!
The request token for this page is invalid. It may have already been used, or expired because it is too old. Please go back to the site or application that sent you here and try again; it was probably just a mistake.I suspect this could be a Twitter issue because even if I try the twitter widget from inside my own profile, it doesn’t display any tweets.
Hope this helps.
Thanks liquid50, that worked like a charm.
Any luck with this?
Incredible, this solved it… THANKS!
Adding [mediacategories limit=”#”] to the shortcode doesn’t produce any results…
Edit:
This seems to be a bug in the shortcodes.php file, see here.
FYI, my database issue was not related to SImple Tags. The Database server was taking a beating and this was causing some seriously bizarre things. Things quitted down and we’re back.
This error, however:
Warning: Illegal offset type in isset or empty in ~/wp-includes/post.php on line 825
Is still happening.
I go to post tags > then click on the number that indicates how many posts are associated with any tag and it pops up on the screen.
I’m seeing this error as well. What’s more, after I upgraded to the latest version of Simple Tags, all my categories disappeared from the backend and front end, as did the tags.
They are still in the database, but are not being pulled. I switched to the default theme, checked the DB, repaired the DB, de-activated Simple Tags, de-activated ALL plugins, and nothing.
Let me know if you found an answer to this, I’m having the same issue…
You have to clear your browser’s cache. If you’re using IE, it’s called deleting temporary internet files or something like that.

In reply to: Next Gen Gallery, gallery template in an albumI tried copying the Carousel template into my Theme’s nggallery folder and then renaming it simply “gallery.php” so that the Albums would display them using the carousel template. It almost worked.
The images are displaying correctly using the carousel template, with pagination. But when you navigate to the second page of the gallery, each thumbnail’s permalink to its larger image is broken.
This only happens with permalinks (pretty URLs) activated. Query string URLs work fine.
Hey VidiTheNotHatless, I was having the same issue and I had to clear my browser’s cache a few times doing a couple of hard-refreshes (command/ctrl+R on FF and Chrome, shift+refresh on Safari) and the watermark eventually popped up in my images…
tmblLori — I was having the same problem but then I did a hard-refresh on my images and the watermark was there. Make sure you clear your browser’s cache AND hard-refresh on the images…
