Presumaby for anyone who is only interested in the photo of the day part of the app, it’s not that useful to have touch events…? Or perhaps give developers the choice? Maybe a switch that gave developers the choice to have html compliance or not might be a cool idea?

Maybe have an offset too? Something that could work like:

If day of year = 355, and offset =354, then result =1 ie use order #1
When day of year =1 and offset =354, then since the result < 1, then add 366 onto it.

Ah, so if i want to pre-prepare more than a month’s worth, i would have to set up an album for each month, and then switch over the album number when i got to the end of each month?

I’ve got the photos’ ordering sorted (I think) and the size settings. Is there a way to have it re-start photo of the day from the first photo?

Also, is there a way so that sharing the page on facebook can display a thumbnail of the image (though I’m undecided whether this would be a good thing at the moment)

Regarding the ordering issue:

The photo that comes out as photo of the day seems to follow an arbitrary order.

What would be really useful is to have options to:

a) Restart photo of the day from a particular photo (e.g. the first one) – at the moment I am trying this out, so I would like to start from the first photo when I “release” it to the main website.

b) Have control over the order in which the photos appear as photo of the day, such as using EXIF_DATE, so that the each day’s photo will be one taken at a later date.
e.g.

Day 1: Pic 1, taken on 2013-11-14 11:00:00
Day 2: Pic 2, taken on 2013-11-15 12:00:00
Day 3: Pic 3, taken on 2013-11-15 12:00:01

Also, Is there a way to make the full resolution (e.g. 1000 pixels wide) get used for displaying on a PC or Mac, as opposed to a lower res image?

Photo sizes:
Source file: 1000 x 665 px. 728.10 Kb Remake files
Display file: 640 x 426 px. 102.19 Kb
Thumbnail file: 150 x 100 px. 8.31 Kb Remake

I think it’s using the 640 pixel version to display?
