Unfortunately, I am unable to reproduce the issue.

I successfully uploaded an image, both by setting it as the featured image and from the WordPress media page. Perhaps it might depend on the number of images on your site.
Could you record a video showing the error you mentioned?

What version of PHP are you using?

If you activate the parent theme Janey, do you encounter the same error?

This happens because the posts already present in the slideshow are removed from the main loop, if you want you can modify the following parts of code in the functions.php file

I have tested the plugin with version 8.2.0, and related posts are being loaded within the content. However, I did encounter a similar error message, albeit different from the ones you mentioned, only when enabling WordPress debug mode.

Having this information would be helpful to reproduce and fix the alerts you are experiencing.

If you fixed it by clearing the cache, it could be because the previous jQuery plugin code that caused the error was cached in the past, currently fixed.

For site speed, you can use one of the free caching plugins available on www.ads-software.com, such as WP Total Cache
