After an hour of constant refreshes, it started working. No idea why…

I changed the setting, from

where can i change this in ftp?

I think I will change theme, the amount of trouble this one has given me just isn’t worth the hasle, I just really like the look. Thanks you very much for your help.

I can’t see anywhere under there how to actually add text or photos or anything, i can just change the tagline and things… Is there a way I can actually customise it? With the boxes and things?

I have tried changing the name, and I didn’t change the peralink. Another person with acess to the site and FTP has put up a landing page as I am working on it. But I now need to get rid of the redirect so that I can work on the home page. Where in FTP do I delete so that this redirect doesn’t happen? Is it the HTAcess file?

No but I have tries with multiple themes and they all do the same thing

Yes the page in settings>reading exists. Ill have a look at the htacess file, and I don’t have any redirect plugins. I have also tried deactivating all the plugins.

I really want my home page to be like the home page that comes with the theme. But I just can’t get it to be like that… How do I get it to be like that again?

And to get to my normal thme and bypass the redirect go to https://www.tynanconsulting.com.au/register/

If I go to https://www.tynanconsulting.com.au/register it doesn’t redirect. And I have tried to delete the file that it redirects to and I just get an error.

So only on https://www.tynanconsulting.com.au/ and https://www.tynanconsulting.com.au/home does it redirect to the file that used to be the first page of the site, somebody else has done this and I don’t know how to change it back. What do I delete over FTP to fix this?

I’ve done that now, but it still redirects to the page. Any ideas?

I was just using the page that the theme has as standard. I disabled all my plugins and and themes to see it that was the issue but to no avail. Where do I set WordPress to use a new page as the homepage? And is there a way to get it to look like the normal homepage?
