Theres also the advanced overview plugin https://www.jomres-extras.com/jomres-plugins/advanced-overview-plugin-jomres which displays today checkins, today checkouts and current residents (in your case current users that have a bike). So when somebody receives the bike, check the user in. When somebody returns the bike, check him out. This way youll have a clear overview of what`s rented to whom, who checks in today, who checks out today and current ongoing rentals.
