Yes – I have W3 Total Cache installed – sorry for being a pain, I’m still not sure what I should be doing to fix this!

I can see it on three different computers … and can still see it even when I have cleared cache and history. When I try to use ‘display:none’ this just removes the logo entirely …

I just want the logo to show (as it is in the top left) however I do not want to be able to see the title text over the top of it.

If I use the ‘display none’ code, it seems to remove my logo too. I think I just need to make the title transparent.

I have just added the title back into the settings so you can see what I mean … https://www.swimquest.uk.com (you can see the title over the logo)

I have just done this on my own site https://www.swimquest.uk.com and it has mainly worked, however I now seem to have a search box there which wasn’t there before. Do you know why this may be and how I can remove it?

Sorry for the delay in replying. You can do this under the ‘Appearance, Menus’ tab from your dashboard. You can then just drag and drop posts and pages into the relevant menu areas – does that hep at all?

Would a search engine pick up this text do you know? Otherwise, is it possible to add a box of text about the grid of images on pictorico at all?

Ah I see. I have tried a couple of SEO plugins and they don’t seem to be working that well for me.

In which case, could I insert a tidy paragraph of copy which is readable by users and search engines under the SwimQuest logo on the homepage, describing the site and our offering?

Thanks for this advice, sadly it’s the google search results I’m having problems with – Google just doesn’t pick up the meta description I have entered, it’s pulling random words and headings from the site …
