Thanks anyway – since I know about the issue I can work around it, just thought others might need to be aware of the problem.

Otherwise it works fine.

I updated the plugin, but when I select oct 7 on the drop-down menu, it still shows 07/10/2018 – and the program interprets that as july 10, so the problem still exists.

After further investigation it seems the drop-down menu defaults to the server’s format, instead of a non-ambiguous format like yyyy-mm-dd.

I can change the server setting to yyyy-mm-dd and then the drop-down menu shows the date in yyyy-mm-dd which works OK – but I thought you should know that there is an issue for those who use UK (and AUS) format.

I had the same message pop up – it was caused by my site not having permalinks set to postname format.

Deactivate and delete version 6.
Then install https://downloads.www.ads-software.com/plugin/custom-contact-forms.5.1.0.4.zip and activate. All your previous forms will return automatically.
That version was the latest one before version 6.

If you delete the latest version then reinstall version 5.1.0.4 all the forms will still be there as they were before – the update doesn’t delete them.

That version supposedly had fixed the security issue.

Delete the new version, then install the older version – the link was provided by the author:
https://downloads.www.ads-software.com/plugin/custom-contact-forms.5.1.0.4.zip

The old forms are still there and come back once the old version is installed.
