This is Alin from Pixelgrade. Thank you for taking your time and sharing a bit of your experience with our theme. We’re constantly looking to improve it, so insights like this one are valuable.

You can simply remove the letter on hovering from the featured image, using the following CSS:

.c-card__badge {
   display: none;
}

As for adding a caption to the featured images — it sounds like a good idea, but we need to investigate if that’s possible, as a feature add-on for the theme. Can’t promise anything about it right now, but we’ll have a look.

Hi Joe,

It seems that I missed your message, I’m sorry about that.

The plugin was created mainly for our Listable theme, to display listing categories. Unfortunately, I can’t tell you how it works with other themes. There’s not much to say about it, because the plugin just allows you to add listing category icons and images (screenshot).

However, if you tell me more about the problems you’re facing with our plugin, maybe I can help.

Hi Natalie,

Patch Lite allows you to have only text as a logo. You can add a custom image with Patch Pro theme only. Read more about the differences between Patch Lite and Pro: https://pixelgrade.com/themes/blogging/patch-pro/
