In reply to: [Zerif Lite] Removing plugin profile notice for non adminsHi, that is the correct type of notification I am getting, but as I said earlier, I have already dismissed it as an admin and it no longer shows up for me. However, it still shows up for all other users.
Thanks

In reply to: [Zerif Lite] Removing plugin profile notice for non adminsHi, unfortunately my site is not live at the moment so I cannot share a URL. If needed, I could put it on a free hosting account so you could take a look.
I was under the impression that this is not a bug, that it’s a standard Zerif Lite notification? I remember I got it, as admin, but dismissed it and it went away. However, it shows up for new members when they go to their profile.
This is not a plugin problem. The message still appears with all plugins disabled.
Thanks for your help.
Thank you so much for your help. It works! Will this be included in the next full version of MC4WP?
Thanks again for your help.
Hi, I installed the development version. It works fine in the admin backend, the menus work fine and everything. However, when I try to complete checkout I get a white screen with no error message. The page stops loading as well.
If I try checkout without clicking the “Subscribe to our email newsletter” checkbox the checkout works fine. I’ve also tried with a fresh checkout.php file to ensure I didn’t make any other changes.
Thanks
Hi,
I added the checkbox by inserting the code for a custom integration onto line 676 of the PMPro checkout.php file. I know this isn’t the best way to add it, but I’m already using the PMPro customizations plugin for something else. The code is:
<p> <label> <input type="checkbox" name="mc4wp-subscribe" value="1" /> Subscribe to our newsletter. </label> </p>
I have added a dedicated first name field to the Mailchimp list on mailchimp.com. If you mean somewhere else such as on the checkout page, no I have not. I thought it used PMPro’s one which I think is “bfirstname” for me.
At the moment the site is not live. if you need to see the checkout, I can put it on a free hosting account so you can have a look. Please let me know.
Thanks for your help.
Hi, just to follow up to this issue, have you made any progress? This wasn’t fixed in the latest plugin version was it? I tested myself and it still wasn’t correctly pulling the first name.
I apologise for being slightly impatient and thank you again looking into this issue for me.
Thanks for looking into this, I look forward to hearing back ??

In reply to: [MC4WP: Mailchimp for WordPress] Custom Integration – not subscribing to listI’ve just tested again, and the checkbox is now subscribing people to the list correctly. However, it is taking the person’s username as their first name, but I’m sure this is an easy fix. I apologise for wasting your time.

In reply to: [MC4WP: Mailchimp for WordPress] Custom Integration – not subscribing to listI’m finding PMPro pretty good overall, however there isn’t much support for non-premium members. I did have trouble with their PMPro Mailchimp Addon though, kept throwing errors on many different pages.
That is one way of doing it, but I would like it to redirect directly to the login page if possible.
