In reply to: [The Events Calendar] conflict with WordPress Social BoardThanks for your reply. The creators of WordPress Social Board have solved this issue in version 3.2, so everything is working now.
Hi, just wanted to update: this seems to have been user error (oops!). We have two similarly named sites, one on a subdomain, the other on the main domain, and the emails going to the wrong person were from the site we hadn’t updated the Firewall security email recipient.
So no issue on the part of the plugin! Sorry for the false alarm, and thanks for being willing to help check it out.
I didn’t have email auditing turned on at the time I posted this request. I changed the Settings – General address to go to myself instead, and haven’t had another email from the system yet. So I’ll post back here when/if it happens again, with the email audit information. For now, all is quiet!
Not that I know of… these are the ones we have active on the site:
(mt) MediaTemple System Plugin
Advanced Custom Fields Pro
Background Update Notification Email Address
Gravity Forms
Punch Guider
Revolution Slider
Simple Share Buttons Adder
Site Stager
Tweet Blender
WordPress Security Firewall
WP Mobile Detect
WP Responsive Menu
WP-DBManager
WPBakery Visual Composer
Yoast SEOand currently inactive:
(mt) Mail
Akismet
Duplicator
Fetch Tweets – Hashtag Cloud Template
Maintenance
Sidekick
ThinkTwit
WP101 Video TutorialsI can’t think why any of these would be duplicating the email to the Settings-General email. Do you have any ideas I might be overlooking? The Background Update Notification plugin does send out emails, but only related to plugin or WP core updates, and those go to a different address altogether.
