I was able to downgrade by replacing individual files. Still need help resolving the conflict.

BTW, when I try this and click “Import Selected Images,” I just get this

{“files”:[]}

and nothing happens.

Are the photos from the media library COPIED into photo gallery?

Followup. When I disable Photo Gallery by Supsystic, everything on the site works again. The WPMUDev guys said this:

When I applied it on my installation it started working again so the issue is definitely with version 1.8.3, you should get in touch with plugin developers and see what changes were made that could cause this, especially in Module.php file as it looks like change in that one is causing this.

At very least I’d like to “downgrade” to 1.8.2 for until I can find a gallery plugin that works. I can’t see from the link provided by WPMUDev where to DOWNLOAD it. Help?

Thanks for the response. It seems fundamental to me that users might, for example, create a standard gallery and then, after adding and organizing all the photos, realize they want a rounded one instead.

If I understand your response, this cannot be changed without starting from scratch. Is that correct?

I’ve done all the things you mentioned and none of them worked. I’ve seen this reported elsewhere and, so far, no solution. (I don’t have any caching plugins, btw.)

There must be something IN WordPress that’s triggering it. Anyone know what, where it is?

Mine is the opposite problem. The comment count at the bottom of the post is correct (and the comments are there), but the count in the dashboard and in searches is 0.

We just resolved it a few minutes ago. A number of things converged, but the biggest was MYSQL damage.

After waiting a few hours the redirect seems to have expired.

I just tried this in a different browser and it doesn’t redirect. In Safari, however, it still redirects, even with a hard refresh. ???

I have had it occur with twenty eleven once a number of months ago, but since it’s a sporadic problem the only way to continue to test it is to replace my custom theme for weeks or months waiting for it to happen.
