We did a manual check and it worked fine. So used the IP address.

Same error occurred.

I changed the name of thesis, which got me back into the admin and then selected the default theme, which got me back to the home page.

OK, uploaded both of those and it didn’t fix the problem. ?? I’ll try to figure out the error logs now.

While I’m working on that, thought I’d mention that multiple forums give this as a fix:

If you get a blank page when you log into the dashboard (admin panel) then rename the index.php file present in wordpress plugins directory to index.html.

There is no index.php file in my WP plugins folder. To what are they referring?

Yes, esmi, I did login to the admin areas on Saturday. I was working on using the FormBuilder plugin. Had no problems.

I have deactivated the plugins. There were only three. Didn’t help.

I tried this to fix my white screen admin problem. All that happened is that I could no longer access ANY page of my site, since any URL was redirected to the wp-admin page…which is blank. :/

There are reports of this problem all over. Only noticed it now because I’m having the same problem. Please address this issue.

BTW, I tried getting rid of the spamblocker field, but the form still doesn’t work. It seems to function, but no mail is sent to my inbox.

Thanks flammobammo. (What a name!) That didn’t work. I guess I’ll just go back to ugly links. Sure wish this worked better.

I was just told that the problem is my hosting. I use Mac OSX server 10.5. I was told that these permalinks would work if I was on Linux/Unix. Anyone have input on that?

Fixed. Well, I didn’t really fix it. I just removed the entire links section. Never did figure out why it was spitting out the rejection. Now it validates correctly.

My .htaccess file now contains:

That is all that’s in there. Should there be something else?

WP is creating the URLs correctly, but when I click on a title, it goes to an error page.

If I change the permalinks setting back to the ugly default, the links revert and work fine.

Any help appreciated.
