But just to clarify, there was a plugin I was using before and we got word that it was being eliminated and recommended we switch over to the Express Checkout Payment Gateway, which I did. Instantly, I started getting spam orders (and figured out how to fix it) and now this credit card thing.

The one you recommended has 1 1/2 stars. The one I’m currently using has 2 1/2 stars. It seems a lot of people thought the old one worked better. Is there a reason it was eliminated?

I goofed. All is good. I didn’t look closely enough at the order. The discount was $30, not 30%.

Hi, I’m not sure what a system report is or where to get it or what my PayPal log means.

What I see in my Woocommerce orders within WP are multiple 4-digit order numbers in place of names. Once I checked that box within the PayPal plugin’s settings, now these fake orders do contain real addresses. So somehow that fix didn’t work.

I’ll just check out the support site for the app that Steve listed above because:

“Please check if your security plugins/ .htaccess file/ hosting
does not block and permits access to your site /xmlrpc.php and REST API” gives no instructions or steps to check or remedy the situation. But thanks for replying anyway.

So you’re suggesting that the other option, to change the setting in Paypal is better?

By not being able to change the address in Paypal, do you mean only the purchaser’s address or do you mean even the shipping address?

I’m curious. I opted for the 2nd option to strictly verify address within the plugin. Does that mean it will behave like the other PayPal plugin that I got a message was discontinued?

I’m only using this plugin because the other one was losing its support. In your opinion, is this the best one to use?

FYI, very since I installed it it’s been creating fake orders because order details are not required on checkout.

Thanks for the reply. I was a bit desperate to fix this and posted a similar question that someone else answered.

He was not able to recreate my problem and even tried it with the Make theme. Instead, he gave me some code to force the send row of products onto the first line.

So it works now but I think it would be better not to have happen in the first place. The slideshow part is just an option in Make that you can check when using a Product Grid.

I do have a screenshot but don’t see how to add that here. Anyway, as I said, it’s resolved. Thanks.

It turns out “item offset” option was set to 3, so was skipping the first 3 posts. I would have thought item offset referred to spacing of some sort so I didn’t even notice it.

If that options is not exclusive to my theme, shall we leave this topic here in case someone else has the same issue? It would save them a lot of pain.
