I decided to use the default Shop page after all.

But products don’t display across the page. I found this code but nothing changes.

What can I do to make the Shop page go full width?

That’s what I was doing with the features my theme gives me.
I just didn’t realize I’d run into so many problems.

If I do go back to using the default Shop page, will there be the subcategory menu options that filter products by type?

I do want a shop page. I created a different page called Shop Jewelry so I could use the page modules of my theme so I could control the look better. It has a post-type module that pulled in all my products just like it would post lists. That all works great. But it’s the all the links back to Shop that I’m struggling with. I’ve changed most of them in functions.php but I can’t seem to get all of them.

But I might have to abandon my approach since it’s causing too many problems. However, when you say leave it blank, there is no option to leave it blank that I can see.

I guess I’m still not clear. If I’m using another page other than Shop for my shop, what should I have selected in that dropdown?

I didn’t realize the URL was just /cart.

Maybe this is a dumb question but if the URL is so non-specific, how can different users have different cart contents?

If I click on a product and then hit “add to cart” it does show a “view cart” button at the top of the product page.

But let’s say I backtrack or go searching for other items and I decide not to get anything else, there’s no clear way to go back to view your cart. It would be nice if on the products index page there could be a view cart button.

The only way I can see now to get to my cart is to add another item (and then delete it if I don’t want it, retaining my original item.) I think this would confuse and frustrate shoppers.

Re: thumbnails, I ended up regenerating thumbnails again.

Responsive:
Do I have to do my gallery over again after activating the
responsive plugin? Or activate this one and deactivate
the other one?

Ah, yes. Fantastic. I didn’t even try the obvious.

Would you mind looking at this? Why is one thumbnail larger than the rest? Do you see the 2nd row down on the left? It’s messing up the grid.

Also, I see that this doesn’t function that well on iPhone. So if i get the responsive theme, does that mean I use both or replace this plugin with the responsive one?

Maybe it’s not a permanent solution but I did a search and there is no Open Graph available in Jetpack, unless it’s in a premium version.

I just realized they go away once the post is published. I hadn’t realized that before. But what was appearing while viewing the draft version is now gone.
