Hi! Hmmm…. Nope, I’m afraid that’s not possible – sorry. I would add that as a feature, but I think it could make things really confusing for the typical user (that uses just one charity.)

dleifer – from looking again at your first site, I think you’re having the same issue – please examine the HTML for that page in the editor and I think you’ll find the culprit there – see the instructions above

OK – just to let everyone know at least one way to get the “click on donate and the processing graphic just goes and goes and goes” problem is if you have bad HTML in the page on which you have placed the dgx-donate shortcode.

To see if this is a problem, go to your dashboard, Edit the Page, and switch to Text mode on the editor. If you have anything in the text editor other than the shortcode

[dgx-donate]

then carefully make sure that all HTML tags (e.g. <b>Bold</b> ) are properly closed and don’t put the shortcode inside any tags.

Hmmm… I am not sure, but I will take a look – I am changing how that part of the plugin works – and will keep you posted.

Hmmm…. I am rewriting this part of the plugin to work differently – I am stumped as to why the calls are working correctly on some hosts and not others, but I have a couple ideas.

A new version will be available this month – sorry for the delay – I’ve been swamped.

I switched Seamless Donations to use the same mail mechanism that WordPress itself uses – please try it now. That should do the trick. If not, let me know what is displayed in the Log (Dashboard >> Seamless Donations >> Log)

Please try this: please try deactivating, then deleting, and then install and activate the plugin again – let me know if this makes it so you can set the email address. You will not lose any settings.

I saw one other user get half upgraded when they attempted to update to the latest seamless donations – and I’m wondering if that is what has happened here as well. I think there might be a bug in plugin update in WordPress core – not sure.

If you still can’t get the email address to “stick” after doing all that, please send me a screensnap of the settings page with the email address BEFORE you attempt to save the settings changes and a screensnap of the settings page after you attempt to save the settings changes.

Hi Amy!

Please be sure to only put an email address in that setting field – anything else will fail to validate and will automatically be removed. That is, you can do things like

[email protected]

and that should work – but no links etc – they will fail to validate and will be rejected.

It looks like the backgrounds in the donation form are the problem – I will put in a light/dark switch in a future version, but for now, if, in your stylesheet you can add

#dgx-donate-container { background: none; }
.dgx-donate-form-section { background: none; }

should do the trick
