Will do. As for now, I feel like my only option is to look at any files in the WordPress installation that have been modified recently. If anyone has some other ideas I’m all ears.

Yes, I am running Bitdefender, Avast, and Avira currently. As of right now I believe my laptop is clean.

I’ve also used multiple computers to attempt to fix the site.

I’m not sure exactly when this may have happened, so I will look into repairing the site. Thank you so much for the quick reply.

This issue has been resolved. My site host was running an older version of php. As soon as I updated to the new version everything worked like a charm.

The Fan Victor support staff were quite helpful in troubleshooting my problem.

I may have a workaround for this. I downloaded and activated a plugin called “User Role Editor”. Using the User Role Editor, I enabled editors to “delete_users” and also enabled editors with the permissions for everything that included “achievements”. Editors are now able to award achievements on my site.

There’s probably a better way to do this, but for now I believe this is a usable solution. Bear in mind that while this is a solution I’m using I am not recommending anyone else use it. I do not know the repercussions of the solution I suggested, so perhaps Paul or someone else can verify this as a safe solution or perhaps offer another option to make this work.

Just following up on this one, Paul. I’ve tried awarding permissions from an editor account I created and it doesn’t seem possible. I think it has something to do with the fact that Editors by their nature don’t have access to edit the user database from the backend if I’m not mistaken. That’s my guess, but I’m sure you have more background knowledge of those things than I do.

I would totally be on board with having the featured image added to the achievements list! Big +1 from me.

PS Great work on this plugin, Paul!

I echo the comment of SplendidAngst. Is there an ETA on this issue getting fixed? The support ticket has been open for 4 months without any fixes. Should I be searching for another type of achievements plugin?

The badge display still doesn’t work properly. Will this be addressed in the upcoming release, and is there an ETA for said release?

My tests were with BadgeOS and BadgeOS Community Add-On installed and activated. I do not have Badge Stack Add-On installed.

After some extensive testing, I have found that the “Achievements” tab in the BuddyPress profile only works directly out of the box. If you use multiple achievement categories, not all of them will display. Here’s how I think the program operates and where I think there is a problem.

    How it “should” operate:

    1) Admin creates multiple categories with multiple badges/awards/medals
    2) User unlocks an award.
    3) Upon unlocking an award, the BuddyPress “Achievements” tab is supposed to trigger so that the tab displays.
    4) Clicking on that tab will show all the achievements a user has earned from all categories.

    Here’s some problems I noticed:

    1) The trigger to display the “Achievements” tab does not seem to be all-inclusive. If I just make one category and make achievements only in that category, everything seems to work fine. The problem arises when one starts making multiple categories. This leads me to believe that the trigger to display achievements is too defined and needs to be broadened.

    2) The display of achievements is also confined to only 1 category. Something in the coding needs to be expanded to include all achievements, not just one category.

I am not a programmer, so this is just my two cents. I tinker with code a bit so perhaps I’m on the right track here, but I just wanted to write this so that the plugin developers might have a better idea of where the issue is so they can adjust it.

Hm ok, I think I understand you now. Let’s see if I do ??

The post titles for all the banners would be Year,Sport,League,Placement.

    Examples of post titles:

    2012-2013 Football Standard Dynasty – 1st Place
    2012 Baseball Standard Dynasty – 3rd Place
    2011-2012 Hockey Invitational League – 2nd Place

Does that help, or am I still not understanding?

It’s all hardcoded. I have automated processes set up on my computer that spit out the awards.

If I had to pick one, I would request that the display of all badges available was compacted first, and the personal badges was compacted if you had the time.

It would be for both the list of badges available and also the profile display for the ones each user has earned. Basically, my badges are quite self-explanatory, as you can see here:

If the banners could be displayed in a compact manner like that (but dynamically, of course), it would look quite sharp on my site!
