In reply to: [BadgeOS] Compact Display?I feel bad to say I am not good at coding. In your estimation, how difficult would this be to implement? Like say if it took a half hour to code, I’d be willing to donate 20 bucks to you, and then everyone can benefit from the compact display! If it’s a more daunting task than a half hour then perhaps I’ll tackle this myself once I’ve learned more about how WordPress coding works.
Thanks for the timely responses! I really enjoy this plugin.

In reply to: [BadgeOS] Compact Display?Yessir!
Right now, the standard display really only allows 3-4 achievements to be displayed without scrolling. If badges can be displayed side by side (both horizontally and vertically) then a site could display 20-30 badges in the same screen length. I see tremendous value in a feature like that.

In reply to: [BadgeOS Community Add-on] Request – Compact Display of Badges in ProfileI’ve added categories. The predominant issue is that you can only see 4 achievements/badges per screen length right now. If the achievements could be displayed side by side and vertically, I could have between 28-32 achievements per screen length. Huge difference.

In reply to: [CubePoints] Has this plugin been abandoned? No, myCred will only import each user’s current points from CubePoints into the myCred system.
One of the best benefits of myCred is that it is compatible with BadgeOS. Plus, like oomskaap said, the author is actively developing this plugin. I am a big proponent of myCred.
Ah, I missed it. Thanks so much!!
I would like to request a tweak to the integration with BadgeOS.
Right now, it looks like a user earns the same number of points for a badge in a specific category. If possible, can you set the number of points earned so that it matches each specific badge? For example
Badge Category 1
– Achievement 1 = 1500 points
– Achievement 2 = 1000 pointsUnder the current system, both achievements must be awarded the same number of points. There is no option for customization. Or, if there is an option for customization please let me know! I cannot seem to find it anywhere.
Thanks for the plugin! It’s spectacular!

Very frequent updates, plus you can port your existing CubePoints logs into myCred.

In reply to: [Achievements for WordPress] Remove cropping on achievement imageThat worked! Thanks so much.

In reply to: [Achievements for WordPress] Remove cropping on achievement imageIf this is a style in the Achievements plugin, I don’t mind manually altering the style with each Achievements update for the time being, if you could direct me to that?

In reply to: [Achievements for WordPress] Remove cropping on achievement imageI tried adding the above code into the style.css sheet, but it unsuccessfully removed the cropping.
Perhaps my lack of expertise put the code in the wrong spot. Would you care to be more specific as to where the code should be inserted?

In reply to: [Achievements for WordPress] Question about the display of AchievementsPS I donated ~10 bucks (Canadian) your way! It’s not much, but it should cover a cup o’ tea or two ??
Thanks for everything you do, Paul.

In reply to: [Achievements for WordPress] Question about the display of AchievementsIdeally, I’d like to have an option to display the images of a user’s achievements only in their profile. Right now the user profile shows the achievement name, karma, and description.
However, after reading some other request tickets I see that you plan to work on different ways to display the achievements, so I can be patient ??
You rock! Really looking forward to testing this plugin.

In reply to: Removing #comment-* from the urls.I’m thinking about something similar. Do you have a link to your site? Perhaps we can swap ideas.
+1 on this. I was all set to test out this plugin and then got the SQL warning ??
