In reply to: [WP Post Signature] Multi-user supportHi,
You can login as other authors and set up the signature for them.
In other words, every author can set up their own signature only by themselves.
Hope this is helpful.

In reply to: [WP Code Prettify] Color changesSorry, I didn’t response sooner.
code-prettify automatically detects the code language and how to highlight the keywords.
It looks like code-prettify thinks “Hulpprogrammas” is a keyword in the code context and highlights it in purple.
If you don’t like purple, you can customize it on “WP Code Prettify” setting page. Input following code into the textarea on that page:
.prettyprint .typ {color: #FF0000;}
This piece of CSS code will change the color of that word to red.
Hope this info helpful.
Thanks,
Soli

In reply to: [WP Post Signature] SettingsHi,
If you want to display the signature, you must make sure at least these things:
1. The type of the content is checked in “Which types of content should the signature be placed?” setting.
Some content’s type is “page” rather than “post”.
2. All categories of the content are checked in “Which categories should the signature be placed?” setting.
Sometimes, a post belongs to more than one category. Make sure all of them are checked.
3. The author of the content is the one who set the signature.
More often than not, there are several authors contribute content to one site.
Make sure the signature you want to show is set by the exact author of the content,
which means the author logins using his/her account and set the signature.4. If you have other plugins installed, maybe there are conflicts between them.
Then you can disable other plugins temporarily, and see if the signature shows up.
If signature shows up then, conflicts are confirmed.
But there still is one last try:a. Enable other plugins again,
b. Change “The order in which this plugin is executed” on “WP Post Signature” setting page;
c. See if the signature shows up. If not, try another number. Please don’t hesitate to update this thread again if the problem is still there.
Good luck. ^_^

In reply to: [WP Post Signature] SettingsHi,
You may consider these three settings:
1. Will the signature be appended to the excerpts of posts?
2. Will the signature be appended to the posts in archive or category list?
3. Which types of content should the signature be placed?Good luck ^_^

In reply to: [WP Post Signature] Multiple categories problemHi,
Sorry for the delay response and thanks for your feedback.
Actually, this feature is implemented as “posts NOT belonging to X” instead of
“posts belonging to Y”.For example, if your have a post P belonging to two categories, A and B,
while you only check A on the setting page.Because P belongs to B, which is not checked, the signature will not show in this post.
I know this is confused, and I am so sorry for that.
But the user who recommended this feature need this,
and it works fine for other users so far.
So, maybe I should keep it as is.But I will add a note following the title of the setting.
Thanks for your feedback again.
Good luck. ^_^

In reply to: [WP Post Signature] Not showing up at allHi,
Maybe some configurations are incorrect.
There are some possibilities:
1. You didn’t check the correct TYPES.
You can check all the types in “Which types of content should the signature be placed?” setting, and see wether the signature shows up.
2. You didn’t check the correct categories.
Do the same as above to the “Which categories should the signature be placed?” setting.
3. The signature is set by one user, but the posts are published by another user.
If you check all these above but the problem is still there, please take a screenshot of your setting page and post it here.
Good luck. ^_^

In reply to: [WP Post Signature] Signature Placement ShortcodeHi, @scanlab,
Sorry for it takes so long to support this feature.
I’m so lazy ??…
Anyway, it comes true at last.
Please update to v0.3.7 and you will see a new option for the position of the signature and an input box where you can set the custom placement shortcode, which is
<!-- SIGNATURE_MARK -->
as default.I know you will love it. ^_^
Good luck.

Hi,
After a few seconds when I send last reply, I asked myself “Why not NOW?”
So, here it is, v0.3.6.
Some new variables are supported:
- %author_meta_id%
- %author_meta_display_name%
- %author_meta_nickname%
- %author_meta_url%
- %author_meta_user_email%
- %author_meta_user_description%
- %author_meta_description%
- %author_meta_avatar%
And I think the last two variables are what you want.
Please take a try and tell me whether it works or not.
Good luck.^_^

In reply to: [WP Post Signature] Shortcodes in Signatures – is it OK tu use them?Hi Evi,
I think it is totally OK to put a contact form in the signature.
The signature supports HTML code, so you can do what you like with it.
Good luck. ^_^
