In reply to: Pictures mess up the post structure. Thanks, I have looked into it. Seems like the text was below the photos but with a little more playing around with the visual editor I somehow solved it although it still does not look perfect.
If you have any other small html tips to arrange photos I’ll be glad to hear.
Thanks again.

In reply to: Adding a header section to a header-less theme?I am using the theme Carton Pro that I bought from https://www.bavotasan.com.
The dude there is not very helpful and he just said that if I am looking for a theme with a header I should get one that comes like that.By “header” I mean like the top section of this website:
https://www.themeditationblog.com/
where it says research, articles and so on.My website is https://www.guitarhippies.com and as you can see there is no header to my current theme at all, however, THERE IS a header.php file that I can access through the appearance > editor.
Thank you very much!

In reply to: Weird 8 lines of warnings on top of each page!Hey.
Seems like it only showed up:# BEGIN WordPress # END WordPress
When I opened it. I put the code you said, it seemed like it got it, uploaded it instead of the original but still same results with custom permalinks.
Here is the original htaccess in case you want to take a look.

In reply to: Weird 8 lines of warnings on top of each page!Hey.
Just switched the website to Twentyfourteen and deactivated all the plugins.Lee – I know he changed it through the wordpress control panel, nothing complex. I tried to change it back again to custom and the problem persists so now it’s back to default.
And yes I google how to do it and I do have access to the htacess file, but I did not fully understand the article and how it can help me. Hopefully I am trying to have the option to just use the regular custom permalinks through the wordpress dashboard.
Thank you!

In reply to: Weird 8 lines of warnings on top of each page!Hey again guys!
So I called the Hostgator support and the guy played around for 20 mins and eventually when he switched the permalinks back to default it solved the problem AND my other problem with weird characters showing up in some places along the website. It’s not related to any theme or plugin because I have had those problems since the second day with this website when I still did not have anything installed and was using the default theme.
Unfortunately he could not further help me from there since it is not a server issue, and he told me I should contact a web developer since this is a SCRIPTING ISSUE for the permalinks.
That means that I can just leave it without custom permalinks but obviously because of SEO reasons I do not want to do that. So, does anyone know what can be the problem and how I can solve it hopefully myself?
THANKS AGAIN FOR ALL THE HELP, this is really amazing that you guys do that just for helping people.
Alon.

In reply to: Weird 8 lines of warnings on top of each page!Hey lee, unfortunately I am still getting the error with the new line. I should add it right on top of the “That’s all, stop editing!” line right? Still no go.
I will also try the other method, where can I get a fresh wp-includes folder?
BTW I do not know if it means anything but now instead of error on 204-205-206-207-208, I see: error on 204-205-204-205-204-205
Thank you so much man!

In reply to: Weird 8 lines of warnings on top of each page!Hey guys, thanks for the help so far!
My site is new and I only have one plugin so far which is “SmartYouTube” and the bug has been there before I even installed it. Anyway, I tried deactivating it and changing the permalinks settings but still no go.
Ben – I added this code in the buttom of the wp-config but that did not solve the problem.
Thanks a lot for any further assistance!

In reply to: Weird ? characters everywhereHey, Thanks for your help!
I have deactivated the single plugin that I have installed and it did not seem to be the problem. Also tried to resave the Permalinks and that did not help either.I suspect it might have something to do with my proofreader, the stuff i read online said something about that the proofreader i copy and paste too is using a different set of characters from the utf-8 and that might be causing the problem, but they’re solutions did not work.
You can see the problem if you get inside the posts.
Thanks again!
