Trenscanspammers has successfully stopped spam on my blog. The only real drawback to it is that if the user submits comment without code, comment is lost forever. Still, the easiest image-authorization solution to implement.

Seems like this is already started to happen; It is unknown although very likely that this solution will solve the problem.

I like dark weblogs and your design is excellent. I do recommend that you use a spell checker though.

Correct me if I’m wrong but it seems that I would have to actually write the post in both languages (or more in my case) in order to have the option to do so…
I thought the whole point of this was not to have to write an entry two or even three times. Am I missing something? If so, I apologize.

I don’t think you had to take both actions but I’m not sure. My blog was completely broken too and by following Turnip’s fix, it seems to be fixed now.

Man, your script is great. Please let me know how to implement in on my blog… I’m interested in being able to display my blog in Dutch and Spanish because of my family.

I personally don’t want anything to do with the font you are using (I hate TimesnewRoman) but the blog itself is very nice looking.

Exhibit is packaged with poorly written documentation as to how to use it and such. It is a great plugin though. It just needs to be played with.

Thanks for your comment, I guess. I don’t understand what you mean about “random pictures everywhere”. Some posts have pictures, some don’t but they are all neatly alligned to the left. My left sidebar displays thumbnails of the most recent posts on my photoblog and beyond that there is no graphical content except for the header and calendar background. Which browser are you using? Maybe we’re not looking at the same site…
As far as the background color, that’s just the way I like it. I like my blog dark, that’s just a personal preference. Text is 12pt Trebuchet… pretty standard stuff. I don’t think it’s too small (try pressing CTRL and scrolling your mousewheel to the standard setting; it may be your browser resizing text in general)
As far as the layout goes, 3 colum is the way I like it. Thanks for your comment.

Thanks for the input. I am currently thinking of what to do with the calendar. Maybe I’ll just replace header and calendar backgrounds to something more minimalisic and less noisy. I’ve seen some calendars with actual backgrounds bordering each day of the month and such… maybe I’ll take that on.
As far as photography solutions, I chose to have both. A blog and a photoblog. I use photos on some of my posts that don’t deserve a spot on the photoblog and vice versa. Plus being as particular as I am as far as picture size goes, images have to be a certian size all of the time which makes hotlinking an issue.

Well, one down, one to go.
I went to https://www.asymptomatic.net/wp-hacks and copied his CSS for exhibit thumbnails which allows the post text to wrap aroungd insterted images.
Now, for the borders… Any ideas please?

acooper, I had the same problem; after creating all my categories under “general”, I made a test post to all categories and they didn’t show up. I had to re-install WP and then backed up my main css files and my index files in order not to lose all my settings.
It does work now though. Still, everything has to be under “general”.

I just installed a fresh installation of WP in another directory (completely unmodified) and they still don’t show up.
I can’t believe that we’re the only people with this issue…

I’m running 1.2 Any thoughts?
