In reply to: [Australia Post WooCommerce Extension] Silly question…width length height…Okay I think I figured it out…it’s estimating for PARCELS. Is there a possibility of you adding a checkbox on sending for “parcel” or “letter” estimates please?
Also it would be SO AMAZING if you would let us factor the price of the envelope in. I would seriously adore that!!
That’s great news Caroline!
I’m on a dedicated server, no issues yet with the uploads or downloads so I think I may be okay. If the script was running out of time or something I think I would have caught it in a log somewhere but unsure. If you could maybe show an alert that the file is quite large and will take time/resources to process that may help too.
Good luck, I hope you guys get it sorted :D.
Hi Caroline ??
Unfortunately I didn’t record which ones didn’t or did work with confidence, so I hope perhaps this can help:
1. I would create linework in Illustrator, rasterise it (through the edit menu) and save as high quality print preset on exporting as PDF, but with editing capabilities turned off.
2. I would open said PDF in Acrobat (latest version) and click organise pages, then insert from file and add another PDF I had made in InDesign as a back page to this linework.
3. I’d save and upload. It seems to me the simpler designs were okay but the bigger ones would have issues. Perhaps it had to do with filesize?I had to be very careful when saving and resave some because they were 1.5 or 1.7 (can’t recall exactly) so perhaps that was the reason.
The woocommerce plugin has a popup if there’s an issue on the product page and tells anyone trying to download the file “can’t be served at this time”. I think if you did that it would help a whole lot :D.

In reply to: [WaterMark PDF for WooCommerce - Stamp PDFs with Customer Data] UnreliableThe reason for the two stars was because:
1. The product was hit or miss, even on the PDFs it said it supported in the free version. Sometimes it worked others it didn’t.
2. The product wouldn’t handle its own errors when it didn’t work.
3. The product would expose previously hidden urls allowing people to download the file free as much as they wanted without stamping.
I couldn’t reasonably rate this as higher based on my experience with the product, regardless of the support.

In reply to: [WaterMark PDF for WooCommerce - Stamp PDFs with Customer Data] UnreliableI should add to this: My rating was based solely on my experience with the plugin, the additional mention on support was there in case it mattered to someone else making a decision on which plugin to go with. The support didn’t factor into my rating.
My further expansion on it is personal to you to explain why I felt upset with the support. I have no issues if you’re on holiday. I have no issues waiting a bit for a response. But when I’ve waited a month for any insight and then there’s a reply within hours of a 2 star rating that really sucks, especially when you KNEW it would end up being a sale since the free version was not working for my PDFs.
I hope you had a good holiday, sorry about the lower rating than you wanted but I feel it’s accurate to my experience with the product. If nothing else it would be nice to have some sort of warning it wouldn’t work on specific products instead of exposing my URLs and letting people take the original without stamping free as much as they like.

In reply to: [WaterMark PDF for WooCommerce - Stamp PDFs with Customer Data] UnreliableI’m sorry you feel it’s unfair. You responded to this review 3 hours after it was posted, yet I have been waiting over one month for an answer and would very likely have become a paid member had you spoken to me. That was on my agenda.
I’m on Woocommerce to make money selling digital products which I create and I can’t have issues with watermarking, it’s mission critical. I also can’t have the plugin throwing error messages that unmask the PDFs URL so it can be downloaded free again and again!
As you can probably appreciate, my issue was one that shut down my business. You’re here to make money off your plugin, how would you feel if someone stopped you from releasing an update to your premium members and they all left? Because that’s how I feel having been unable to release new products to my own store for a month and having to take several down as well and it’s unfair that I’ve waited so long and held my business up so long for this to be fixed when you can respond fairly quickly and in depth enough to explain to me what the issue is and why it’s happening and how to solve it.
It’s working perfectly now, thanks so much!!

In reply to: [Digital Goods for WooCommerce Checkout] fields still showing upThank you! I almost missed it too. I wish these plugins would just become part of the Woocommerce menu or settings instead of cluttering the main menu up.

In reply to: [WooCommerce Social Share Discount Coupon] Can I get it before purchase?Maybe I am not enabling the right option? Is there a setting to have it show before purchasing?
All I want is someone to put something in their cart, go to the cart, see a share for discount. Share, then get the discount and purchase the cart :).
Thanks so much! You rock!! ??

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Moving Categories/SKU/Tags inside Additional InformationMe too!!
YES!!! Thank you so much!! Do you know how to get rid of the quantity button too? I thought your plugin was supposed to remove all that stuff so it was only showing the add card button? ??
I don’t understand….this is the front page I am not using shortcodes…how does this help me? ??
All I want is an “add to cart” button like this plugin provides, but without the selections for the options which I thought is what this plugin did? It should just add the default choices to the cart which are set up in the product itself on creation. ??
I’d really love some help when you get back :).
