In reply to: Site Will Not LoadDo you mean to say that you were logged into the WordPress dashboard and you then..
“But when I changed the site url to my purchased domain name..”
If so then you need to now login to your database and update the blog and site url in the options table. Here is how https://codex.www.ads-software.com/Changing_The_Site_URL
You might want to contact your web host if your not sure about the database part. If that is not what you meant when you say you changed the name please be more specific as this is a simple issue to fix once we know what exactly you did ??
Cheers mate

In reply to: CLUELESShello nmezied,
Are you hosting on your own local server or with a web hosting provider? if your going through a hosting provider most will offer a quick WordPress installation option with your hosting package. You might try contacting your host if that is applicable to you.

In reply to: /wp-admin/upload.php – The connection was resetThx Songdog I agree, and @angrywarrior his link above has alot of info on it. I would go with something in a Linux flavor myself ?? but I know that is not always an option so reading up on it is the best option in that case. Also speak to the guys at Woothemes they have a wealth of info on their themes and best practices for setup.

In reply to: Special Text Box settings lost after upgradethis could simply be a compatibility issue with 3.4.2 and your current Special Text Box plugin. You can contact the developer and he may be able to offer some insight.
Just touch up on your Russian or go with translate.google.com
Hope that helps even if a little.

In reply to: WordPress installation just doesent work :(I might agree with Andrew above, ensure your URL is correct. However in your post above you said..
“And when I put in the username and password(the same ones that I used while changing wp-config.php) then it gets me back to the same page as I was at.”
This sounds incorrect. The settings in your wp-config.php file are for your database not for your WordPress admin.
Check this by logging into your database via PHPmyAdmin with those login credentials.
Once in the database you can reset the admin password and username so you can log back into WordPress – https://codex.www.ads-software.com/Resetting_Your_Password
and then go to the options table and check the site url and blog url settings as this might be incorrect as mentioned by Andrew. https://codex.www.ads-software.com/Changing_The_Site_URL
That article above has all the info on the database stuff. If you still have an issue let me know. WordPress really is easy to use and this must be a simple error or misunderstanding somewhere. Cheers my friend ??

In reply to: Installation Checklist (am i doing this right?)Here is a simple way to do it and I hope this makes sense.
If your domain example.com is registered at Go Daddy and is currently pointing to tumblr blog. Setup the Go Daddy hosting with the WordPress installed directly into the root as opposed to into the WordPress sub directory which would force you to move it before going live.
Instead you can point your host file to the Go Daddy hosting plan setup on example.com so you can view the Go Daddy hosted site from your PC. Here are the instructions. https://support.godaddy.com/help/article/3354/viewing-your-website-before-changing-your-nameservers-using-host-files
If this is to tricky let me know, there is another way that is easy but takes a little longer and involves a few more steps. Also I believe you would have to install the Template Monster Theme if you purchased it through Go Daddy. It should come with a download or link here are some instruction on this. https://support.godaddy.com/help/article/6770/downloading-your-premium-wordpress-theme
hope it helps my friend if not let me know so I can make it easier ?? cheers
