In reply to: [TablePress - Tables in WordPress made easy] table widthThis seems to work fine. Thanks!
I assume you could remove “-id-1” and make these settings global. That would only work if all your tables are of similar width. The other alternative is to set this parameter separate for each table.
I plan to use a lot of tables, some very small and some very large and crowded. Instead of setting a fixed width like 60% would it be possible to use an “auto” function so that large crowded tables automatically takes up 100% in width while very small tables may take up less than 60%?

In reply to: [Cite] Inclusion of author nameThanks for the update. However, it seems that {date} stopped working. Please see at the bottom of https://science-network.tv/writing-a-systematic-review/. After “Assessed” I have {date} and this worked before the update. I would be most grateful if you can fix this.

In reply to: [TablePress - Tables in WordPress made easy] table widthI tried making a table on:
https://science-network.tv/observations-and-variables/
The table is 100% wide but I want it to adapt and be smaller. I tried the following additions in the plugin options:.tablepress-id-1 {
width: 60%;
margin: 0 auto 1em;
}#wrapper .tablepress-id-1 {
width: auto;
}.tablepress-id-1 .column-2 {
padding: 4px;
}.tablepress-id-1 .column-2 {
width: 10px;
}I tried them one at the time but none of them makes the table more narrow. Any other suggestions?

In reply to: [Cite] Inclusion of author nameHi Jack,
Great improvement. Exactly what is needed! However, I prefer to install using WordPress plugin install feature rather than uploading files using ftp or similar. I also use Installatron which is quite good at automatically update plugins that are maintained on www.ads-software.com. So I will wait and hope that Maeve Lander does an update incorporating your excellent features. It should be easier if she looks at what you have done. Again thanks!

In reply to: [Free Quotation] Own quotes does not show up, onlyThanks for replying all the time. I don’t feel comfortable to mess with my site like you suggest. I might try and set up another test site on an unused domain and try it there. However, it is likely that it will take time before I can do that. Sorry that I can’t make Free Quotation work with random quotes. Apart from that FQ seems to be my ideal plugin. ?? I might have a look again to see what other plugins are out there.
The theme has no settings at all for the results. It just shows the complete pages as results (does not look so nice). I found another Search plugin that works fine so I will try that for a while instead.

In reply to: [Free Quotation] Own quotes does not show up, onlyHi, I updated your plugin and set the setting to random quotes from my manually entered quotes. Nothing came up. The standard quote works and also Wikiquote. I tried to change dates for my manually entered quotes and changed the settings to display quotes by day. This did not work. There is no way I can make my manually entered quotes to appear.
For your information in case you have a look at my website. The current setting is random quotes. I have changed my standard quote to:
“Any fool can make things bigger, more complex, and more violent. It takes a touch of genius-and a lot of courage-to move in the opposite direction.” When you see this quote it means that random quotes does not work.Any more ideas?
(Empty post by mistake)
I can mention that the standard WP search does not have any settings to alter the output. (At least I haven’t found any way to alter it).
The output from Search remains exactly the same whether I have Relevanssi installed or not. Installing and activating Relevanssi does not make any difference for the normal user of the Search function. Please have a look at: https://science-network.tv/ (Relevanssi activated and an index is built). Try doing a search for “Einstein”. The output from Search shows three pages. The whole pages are shown in the output. This is how WP standard search behaved on this theme (Mantra) before installing Relevanssi. To me it seems that Relevanssi does not replace the default WP search. Any idea?

In reply to: [Free Quotation] Own quotes does not show up, onlyAfter adding your two lines I got the following output:
“This is a test of a standard quotation”

In reply to: [Free Quotation] Own quotes does not show up, onlyFirst I added your code to the widgets file and updated the file. I did the editing directly in WordPress. The outcome of the main page was nothing. The column with widget output became totally empty / blank and none of the other widgets on the front page could deliver any output either (the whole column went white blank). I then omitted the added code and all went back to as before (showing the standard quotation).
I then deactivated all plugins one at the time testing random quotes between every deactivation. I did not deactivate the Official StatCounter Plugin because I was afraid it would temper with my statistics. Deactivating all other plugins did not make Free Quotation to start deliver any of my manually entered quotations. I had FQ set to display random quotes but it only delivers the standard quotation.
Any more ideas?

In reply to: [Free Quotation] Own quotes does not show up, onlyI have send you two more screen pictures. One with a standard quote (that shows nicely) and one without a standard quote (none of the manually entered quotes show up).

In reply to: [Free Quotation] Own quotes does not show up, onlyHi,
Thanks for replying quickly. What I see was captured in one of the three print screen images I send you in the e-mail previously. That print screen was taken when FQ was set to random quotations. Was this the information you requested or have I misunderstod?
