I’ve just had a look to your blog and my first impressions are:
1) It looks much over filled. Having a lot of content is a very good thing, but your homepage needs to look much more “tidy” to be attractive. Personally, I think Google ads are not clearly visible for the reader and make your posts look messy.
2) The theme is very good, maybe you could have bigger titles so that your posts would be more prominently displayed.
3) It is just my advice, I do like this blog and you gained a reader. Good work!

As whooami, I would say it looks a bit messy.
That’s the difficult part when you use minimalist themes and show many contents. The more minimalist your theme is, the more tidy it must look.

You’re fully right! Contents is the only thing that really matters.
I regularly read your blog now, I should bookmark it…

Another thing (and, please don’t think it’s an obsession), maybe you could add a baseline under the logo, containing some keywords about the blog’s topic, it could be good for the readers and the SEO…

Because we instinctively look from left to right, and from top to bottom, as when we’re reading…that’s why we see more often logos on the left.

I do like it, and regarding the colour, I think it’s almost fine, very classy, everything is very groomed, but it looks a bit sober to me. Having little colour may be ok if it showed some pics…
Anyway, it is only my opinion, and I think it looks great.

I think it looks very good and I would make just one suggestion:
I would just increase a bit the header’s height so that the logo could be slightly bigger (as it looks good…)

I don’t know how it was a few weeks ago, but presently it looks very good.
Maybe you could make the “home” button match with the column separation, and work on colours’ harmony, then it would perfect…for me.
