I just cleared the browsers’ caches and tried again on all browsers (FireFox, Chrome & IE) but unfortunately the problems are still there.

BTW, I’m trying on a local test wordpress + a live test wordpress. It’s not working on them both ??

Oh, right! Although it works on my other test wordpress which doesn’t use CBox and with the latest version of Buddypress :S but anyway it’s old and hasn’t been updated from a long time as you mentioned!
