Hey,
Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We understand that firewall alerts can be concerning. Please rest assured that the PHP file flagged by Imunify360 is a legitimate part of our plugin. It is securely protected behind an authentication layer and can only be accessed when a valid key is provided by the user.
This script is essential for copying files to your site during the migration process, making it a mandatory component of the plugin.
We will inform the Imunify360 team about this false positive so they can adjust their detection accordingly.

In reply to: [WordPress Migrate & Clone Free : Migrate Guru] migration to itsselvesHey,
Thank you for reaching out to us!
We checked our logs & can see that at the time of the migration, you entered the same URL but the server IP was different. Hence, we did the migration to that URL with the new server IP after doing validations that there is a website with that URL on the server.
You would need to enter a different destination URL if you’re migrating to that.
Thank you!
Hey,
Thank you for reaching out to us!
We can see that some of our requests are being blocked in the migration process & due to this, the process is not completing. I would highly recommend reaching out to our support team over email as we can set up new configurations and complete the migration for you.
Thank you.
Hello,
Thank you for your review.
This would occur only when our plugin was white-labeled on your website. We work like any other plugin & are listed in the WordPress plugin section. When there is white-label enabled via your account, the plugin name is changed or hidden.
If you can share your website URL with our team, we can help check the white-label settings here.
Thank you,
Aman Kedia
Hey!
Thank you for your message. In your situation, you can do the migration without changing DNS. You basically enter the Server IP of Hosting B while using the same URL in the advanced options.
This will force our systems to visit the site on URL A but on Hosting B since the server IP of B is provided.
I hope this helps you with your migration & answers your question.
Thank you!

Hey,
You would not be able to connect your own storage server. You can download the backups & store them as you’d like though.
We do not have a limit per se but we do look at fair usage until 100GB. For sites above 100GB, we take a look at the sites and data to see if you’d need to be on a custom backup plan.
Hey Ron,
We do not have an option to completely lock-down the wp-login.php or change the login mechanism at the moment. We prevent brute force login attempts on the admin page on our free version though.
Thank you!
Hello!
We currently do not have an option to choose backup frequency. Based on your plan, we have different backup frequencies like 24 hours, 12 hours, 6 hours and 1 hour.
The backups are stored on our servers and nothing is stored on your website. We store copies of the backups on different servers as another layer of safety.
Thank you!
Hey,
Thank you for your message.
We checked the website & the logs for this particular request, we can see that the issue might be due to another plugin that you have on the website. Can you create a ticket with our team at support[@]malcare[.]com? Our team can share the details about the other plugin and also validate our findings.
Thank you!
Hey,
Thank you for your message. We can see that when migrating this table, we’re seeing the following error when writing the database -> ERROR 1709 (HY000) at line 5: Index column size too large. The maximum column size is 767 bytes.
It’s an issue with the table on the source website. My recommendation would be to run the migration while skipping this particular table. This is a cache table & you can skip it without losing any data for your website.
Thank you!
Hey,
We can see that you contacted our team & we helped you fix the issue that you had faced. The issue was due to the security policy directive on the source website. Please let us know if you need any other assistance.
Thank you!
Hey,
Thank you for your message. Would you be able to share more details on what you mean by “line gets added multiple times/repeatedly”? Is the include mentioned multiple times on the same file or does it get re-added after you remove it?
Thank you,
Aman Kedia
Hey Faisal,
Thank you for reaching out to us.
It would be difficult to debug from the screenshot what error is occurring. Could you please email our support team & share details with your website URL? That way our team can check what is causing the connection issue and help you migrate.
Thank you!
