It turned out to be theme incompatibility with php 7.1 I reverted back to 7.0 and no more errors.

It’s now working after I deactivated the following plugins:

WPFront User Role Editor – Jetpack now works only for Administrators, Editors and Authors. Any plans to change this back to being available for all roles and custom roles?

iThemes Security – Found on the known issues page. Weirdly it was working fine with Jetpack up until about a week ago. Any tips on configuring this plugin?

It was indeed an issue with the Jetpack plugin. The latest update fixed the problem.

Yes, that’s exactly the prefix on the transient entries and there were a lot of them not deleted. They were expiring, however.

I’m sorry I cannot give you a most recent entry from the database as I’ve had to stop using your plugin and change to something else. Since uninstalling CV I no longer have a bloated wp_options table that crashes my database and website.

I did move the setting up but that didn’t make a difference. Perhaps I’m still doing something wrong.

It’s okay if it doesn’t work. I’ll just have to adjust to typing out the url everytime. I was mostly just checking to see if I was going crazy since the setting was in my last wordpress install but not this one.

I do prefer to FTP my podcast episodes and then just enter the file name in Powerpress, so this setting returning would be ideal.

Hi Jeremy, is there any way to get Twitter to use the short link again? It’s cutting off hashtags that I put in Publicize. What’s the point of Twitter not counting the characters of a url if it still cuts off the tweet with an ellipsis and all my characters aren’t displayed?

Hi just wanted to let you know the error still exists for me. 500 server error when I visit edit.php.

Not to but in, but the issue is with AdBlock in Firefox.
