Just for your information, as soon as the email address is entered on the checkout page, their cart is captured and marked as recoverable. Now the initial status of the cart is set to
PENDING
.The status changes to
IN-PROGRESS
based on thewait period

, the contact enters the abandoned cart automation and executes the actions.The automation detects whether the customer places the order using the cart recovery link or directly on your site. It stops executing further actions for that particular contact while the cart status is

Every orders first status is set to
PENDING PAYMENT
and then it moves to other statuses based on the payment. It is not possible to trigger an automation based on this status.In order to trigger an automation, an order status transition is a must and with this status, there’s no transition involved, hence the automation doesn’t trigger.
However, we also have an event called ORDER STATUS PENDING which triggers on a periodic basis automatically and checks for the orders whose payment is not complete. You can use this to send the emails to your customer suggesting them to complete the payment.

Yes, you could use our double opt-in feature to send an email to the customer with a confirmation link.
If they click on the link, their contact will be marked as verified (Subscribed) in FKA. For example, if a contact enters their email address on a form on your site, then this feature will send them an email with a confirmation link to let them subscribe.

Please note that this is a PRO feature and you’d need a license to enable this.

To get the cart recovery link,
- Open the cart abandoned automation
- Click on the merge tags option and search for the cart recovery link merge tag
- Add it to your email, and it will get decoded into a complete link when the email is sent to the customer via the automation in real time.

Right now, we do not see any immediate plans for WhatsApp, but we know that some of our customers use Uncanny Automator and FunnelKit’s integration to send messages via WhatsApp.
FunnelKit Automations deeply integrates with Uncanny Automator, and Uncanny Automator provides support for WhatsApp.
So what you could do is that when the contact is created, or a tag is added, or whatever the event be, you could create automation in Uncanny and send WhatsApp messages from there.

FKA already has the feature to manage communication preferences.
You can read more about it here, https://funnelkit.com/docs/autonami-2/settings/subscribe-page/ Once this page is configured and set up, as soon as your visitors click on the unsubscribe link from the FKA email, they would see all the lists they are part of and they can choose to unsubscribe or subscribe from the available lists.

WooCommerce has a native way to gelocate user. Country is easily able to fetch but further geographical data might work country to country.
Sometimes states works too but at zip code level, it is rare to work.
Our cart plugin shows a quick cart and have features to increase AOV. It doesn’t take shipping geography data.
A user can add the zip code on the native cart but I am not sure why user will go to the side cart further. Our product reduces the distraction to go to another page i.e. cart. And lead user straight to the checkout.
So, I am also not getting why user will go to the native WooCommerce cart page and insert shipping details.

Yes, it works exactly the same.
Rewards comes as per the user session. If user’s shipping packages allows then they come else not.
