I tried to uninstall and reinstall plugin but it does not get rid of demo settings.

Got one more question, is it possible to completely disable the header on mobile devices?

I was looking to disable parts of the header on mobile but that is probably too hard .

In that case my mobile menu plugin can completely take over the header job.

hello @properlypurple. thanks I at least found a solution while trying this out/

I tried that but it did not help, and it broke my CSS setting as well.

SO I put back the old image and it worked again, I found an error in the size it was 3 pixels to high, so it strectched at least the stretching is gone ??

I only don’t think the text and website flavicon come out well but that is probably be because of the header choice, and hard to do something about it.

that is a major improvement and I removed the extra menu.

I have removed the temporary ugly menu from the website

I will still have to work a little on the header though

The header still could look better on mobile, for some reason the image is somehwat stretched (because it is too big for phone?)

yes its white that is a the problem only shows on mobile deviced with dark background…

So I have been trying to use a plugin for menu,

But I find it does not really do what I want yet.

(tried WP Mobile Menu)

I want it to replace the navigation menu in my header, not my header totally.

My header is too complicated for that.

I simply want another navigation block that works on mobile,

or a menu block, one of the 2.

I don’t like what I have done now with navigation in header, that does not work when it’s collapsed and people cannot find the menu.

I made a temporary menu below the header made by a list block so people can read and find the menu.

More ideas? Does anyone know a specific plugin that can do what I want.

@bcworkz I created a topic but it got moved to twentytwentythree.

The question itself didnt get answered there but a few other problem got solved, as well I posted the answer there as well so Ppople can find it. And managed to change it to resolved now so thanks again!

thanks to @bcworks (thanks a lot) this CSS code works for this specific problem

footer .wp-block-cover__inner-container .wp-block-cover

{ padding-bottom: 0; margin-bottom: -18px; }

one can also edit other sides of the cover image this way!

I am now trying to do almost the same thing, for the footer

only this time it is a cover image inside a cover background, fully spread. I don’t mind the margins on the sides but would love to see the image sitting at the bottom.

so far I got

footer figure.wp-block-image.size-full.is-resized

figure.wp-block-image.size-full.is-resized {
position: absolute;
bottom: 0;
}

But this is not working. I think it is because I got a cover in a cover this time and I don’t know how to pick up the ” image cover”

I tried renaming the figure,wp-block-image to figure.wp-block-cover

but that doesn’t help.

any ideas to fix this are welcome!

in the end haven’t used it yet,

I just madea higher image so text and image were in place.

I have gotten the image as far as I can, and am ok I didnt get it precisely on the edge of the bottom as I wanted. (ok still want)

Currently working on disclaimer bit of the footer.

I could try that, will try to get it done tonight.

at the moment I have focused on getting a working option rather then precisely in the box result, I don’t want to ruin my website while trying to get this done.

While trying to make video, I have found out what happens. I Did not realise changing block space changes block space in my entire website. I was using it to make my text sit on top and my image on the bottom.

Can’t do that I suppose then, but stilltrying to figure out what I can do!
