Hello!
No luck. I still don’t see the navigation when I clear the cache in Chrome.
When I clear the cache, the navigation goes away, and then when I refresh the page after having loaded it once since clearing the cache, the navigation comes back. I am seeing this behavior in Chrome and now it’s spotty in Firefox again.
Thank you!!!
Hello!
This seems to have fixed it in Firefox, but it is still not loading properly in Chrome. I tried playing around with the other compatibility settings and didn’t hit upon any combinations that worked better in Chrome.
Thank you!!!
Thanks for trying, but unfortunately this did not help me. I don’t even have the controls rendering in the HTML when the page is reloaded, so the elements aren’t there to apply those styles to. Other suggestions?
I am experiencing this issue also.
I didn’t see any JavaScript errors.
I contacted the hosting company. Even though I turned off the caching, apparently some caching was still happening on their end. They were able to exclude the specific cookies I needed from the cache and now it seems to be working correctly.
Thank you so much for your help!!!
There are no caching plugins installed on the site. The only caching was on the web server, which I turned off.

In reply to: WordPress One-Click Update Broken – Dashboard Shows “version -“I tried updating based on the settings listed here that were different than my existing:
All files should be 664.
All folders should be 775.
wp-config.php should be 660.This broke the entire site. I restored the permissions settings to what they were originally and am still having the same problem with the auto update.

In reply to: WordPress One-Click Update Broken – Dashboard Shows “version -“Thanks, @graphicscove!
I’m checking my file permissions now – looks like files are 644 and folders are 755. I tried changing a few folders and files to make them more permissive (664, 775), but this does not seem to fix the issue and, in some cases, makes the admin pages disappear entirely.
Are there specific files I should be looking for?
Thank you!!!
