Hi @gregyates,
Thanks so much for reaching out. In November 2020, we introduced a completely free plan for users of our WordPress plugin. It includes all of the features of a Basic subscriptions, including 2 campaigns, and up to 500 campaign impressions. It’s a great option for those just getting started with growing their list, leads and sales.
If you haven’t already, please update your OptinMonster for WordPress plugin and you should see the option to register a free account, or to connect to an existing account if you already have one.
You can view a detailed walkthrough of how to install the OptinMonster for WordPress plugin here: https://optinmonster.com/docs/how-to-install-the-optinmonster-wordpress-plugin/ including how to create a free account.
If you have any other questions, please don’t hesitate to ask. We’re happy to help!

Customer Success Manager, OptinMonsterHey @atifsheraz, Angie Meeker here, Customer Success Manager at OptinMonster. We just pushed out an update to the plugin earlier this week that should help with this. There was an error that wasn’t allowing our review ask to remain dismissed once closed. If you’ll update your plugin, you should see that you can now permanently dismiss that request.
Thanks!
Angie
Hi Doug,
Thanks so much for your patience while we worked out this issue. We’ve just released V1.9.17 of the plugin. If you’ll update your plugin you should see this issue resolve.
Hi! Thanks so much for reaching out. I’m sorry you’re having trouble with your campaigns today. I’ll need to have our dev team take a closer look. Is the site you’re experiencing this issue on stelizcc.org? If not, could you please share a link to the site?
Hi there!
Thanks for taking the time to leave a review. It sounds like you’d be interested in a free version of OptinMonster. We don’t offer that right now, but I’ll be sure to pass that along to the rest of the team for consideration.
We do mention that the plugin is a companion to our standalone app in the description: https://a.supportally.com/Sfblkt and include a link to purchase a subscription.
Our plugin for WordPress helps existing OptinMonster users more easily target their OptinMonster campaigns to the posts, pages, categories, tags and other post types available on their website. Since WordPress sites can alter their permalink structure, it’s not always possible to target specific URLs directly in our app, so this plugin gives WordPress users a way to more easily manage their campaigns even with a unique permalink structure.
As well, our plugin allows our users to parse shortcodes in any OptinMonster campaign. This lets you use other plugins’ shortcodes (like WPForms, RafflePress, SmashBalloon and others) directly in your campaign.
And, it also provides the integration necessary to add your inline campaigns directly into your content using shortcodes, or the OptinMonster Gutenberg block.
Thanks again for taking the time to share your thoughts with me. I appreciate it, and again, I’ll be sure to share them with the rest of the team.
Thanks,
Angie Meeker

Hi there! Thanks for reaching out. OptinMonster has an easy to use drag and drop editor that lets you create custom campaigns using our Canvas template, OR, you can simply start with one of our dozens of predesigned templates and customize them using the same editor.
Have you had a chance to check out our demo webinar? I think you’d find it very helpful. You can register here: https://optinmonster.com/demo-registration-p and watch it anytime you’d like.
If you have any other questions, please don’t hesitate to ask!
Hi again,
We just pushed out an update to the plugin that should address this issue. If you’ll update your plugin, you should see the issue resolve. If not, please let me know and we’ll take a look again.
Hi there – thanks so much for reaching out. I’m sorry you’re having trouble etoday – let’s see if we can get it sorted out.
Could you please do two things for me:
1. Update your WordPress plugin to the latest version if you haven’t already to see if that resolves the issue.
2. Then open a support ticket from within your OptinMonster account so we can take a closer look. ??Thanks!
Angie
Hi Jill,
I can reopen it for you and escalate to our dev team right now. They’ll follow up again as soon as they have more information to share.
Thank you,
Angie
Hi Jill,
Thanks so much for reaching out – I’m so glad that updating your plugins resolved this issue for you. I’m going to go ahead and close this along with your support ticket since both have been resolved, but if you need us again in the future, please don’t hesitate to reach out again.
Have a great day!

Customer Success ManagerHi there! I’m sorry you’re having trouble with your Google Analytics account after disconnecting OptinMonster. Deactivating OptinMonster should only stop our impressions and conversions from being passed through as events to Goole Analytics. We don’t have the ability or permission to entirely remove Google Analytics from your website. ??
When I view your site, I see you’re using Google Tag Manager, but I don’t see any Google Analytics tracking IDs. Here is the documentation from Google Analytics directly for how to add your tracking ID to your website: https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/1008080?hl=en
Alternatively, if you’d rather not bother with adding the GA code to your site, you can use our sister product MonsterInsights to easily connect to Google Analytics and to display helpful reports from Google Analytics directly in your dashboard. You can learn more at https://monsterinsights.com.
Once you either add your Google Analytics tracking ID to your site, or begin using MonsterInsights, you should see your Google Analytics begin to populate again.
Hi there! It looks our support team was able to resolve this for you by using the original embed code rather than one created by your previous developer. If you need anything else along the way, please don’t hesitate to ask!
